I’m delighted to be leading a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course from January to June 2019 at the fabulous Studio Kooks in Beckenham.
These courses are designed for students with 2+ years experience of practice in order to provide them with a thorough understanding of all aspects of yoga: from movement, to meditation, to mantra.
They’re great if you’re thinking of one day treading the teacher training path…but equally, they’re a perfect vehicle for self-development if you simply want to broaden your understanding of the practice.
Studio Kooks is located within the historic Beckenham Place Mansion, at the heart of Beckenham Place Park - it’s a truly beautiful setting and the perfect place to dive into our yoga practice together.
The course itself will be scheduled across 10 x Saturdays running 10.30 - 18.00 from 26th January 26th to 15th June - the full set of course dates are:
26th January
09th February
23rd February
09th March
23rd March
06th April
27th April
11th May
01st June
15th June
Each day will be like a mini retreat in itself - we’ll dive into physical practice, into the history and philosophy of yoga, into movement anatomy, and into meditation, mantras and more.
You can find all of the details about the training here - and if you’d like to apply to join the course, if you have any questions or if you’re uncertain as to whether or not you’d be eligible to join then please do get in touch.
Applications will close on Friday January 4th 2019.
I’m very much looking forward to teaching this course - it will be a wonderful opportunity to work with a small group of students in an intimate setting, to really deepen our understanding of what yoga is all about and cultivate a sense of community…I really hope you’ll be there to join us.
