ABOUT YOGA + MOBILITY TRAINING
As a certified Mobility Specialist in the Functional Range Conditioning® system, mobility training techniques are integral to my approach to teaching yoga.
Mobility training is a systematic approach to improving joint function and health and addressing specific movement limitations. Incorporating elements of strength training, it improves body control, strength and functional movement efficiency by allowing us to exert force through a full range of movement.
Whilst it can be of benefit to anyone, it is particularly useful for anyone who participates in dynamic sports that place several competing and challenging demands on the body.
When we practice a mobility training informed approach to yoga we move better, perform better and feel better.
